It's taken a couple of weeks, but 3.6 is finally working for the Steam Deck again as of today.

Previously the game wouldn't even launch on Steam Deck since the 3.6 Update
For some reason, we also had to authorize the game through Google Play, this was not possible in Game Mode due to the browser not being fully recognized by Google, however, we managed to complete the process in Desktop mode just fine.
UPDATE April 24,2023: RE Google account linking, this was due to a sub-channel change to the Google sub-channel in testing and shouldn't be the case for anyone else
So to update the game for the first launch and first login, we recommend you run it in Desktop Mode until you are fully into the game.
Then you can switch back to game mode and play as normal
UPDATE - Some user's are still having a launch issue but some have fixed it by changing the sub_channel to 3 in the config.ini file that is in the launcher directory and also another one in the game directory
